Postgraduate Studies of the Tajik State University of Commerce - the center of scientific personnel

Post-graduate courses at Tajik State University of Commerce were established in 1996. Opening post-graduate courses at the university required a lot of time and effort. The university has a very high need for proper preparation of highly qualified scientists, higher level of education, highly qualified scientific and educational teaching staff and to improve training for other sectors of the economy within the Republic of Tajikistan. Our people have always had great respect for the people involved in scientific community. Opening post-graduate courses at Tajik State University of Commerce was an effort to create more respect amongst our young teachers and scientists for having the access to advanced degrees. The dramatic increase of young professionals caused for the higher demand of scientific and intellectual work. Every graduate student presents their thesis to the Dissertation Council and a festival of science is held in celebration of the student’s success. The university administration provides all conditions for post-graduate scientific work. At their disposal is a rich modern library equipped with the latest technology. The University Library was recently supplied with hundreds of copies of scientific literature. Graduate students have free access to computers, Internet communications and digital library functions, which help facilitate the work of graduate students on their dissertations.

Supervisors of graduate students are well-known in the country and by foreign scholars. Doctor of Economic Sciences: Habibov SH, H.N. Fakerov, M.M. Sharipov, Radjabov RK, Isomatov BI sanguine N. S., MS Hamitov are just a few of our prestigious staff members. Young researchers and other university members with scientific ideas and research results are at conferences and seminars. Post-graduate courses hold complex lectures and seminars with the participation of leading scientists of the country. In all subjects, according to the requirements in graduate courses, are organized sessions for training and candidate examinations.

Only in recent years in the University Dissertation Council have students defended their dissertations and received diplomas as candidates of economic sciences. Of our 50 young scientists, 25 of them are teachers at our university. Young teachers that are members of the science club gain an honorable and prestigious within the university by developing their communication to a high intellectual level.

Our graduate students, thanks to their tireless work, the support of the director and the leading university scientists, have achieved great results. For example, former graduate Mirzoaliev Abdurashid - Head of the "Management" Tolibov Qobil - Dean "Economics and Management" Hikmatov Suhbatullo - Head of the "Trading expertise and Customs" Kurbonov Abdukarim - Head of the "Banking", Tabarov Abdusame - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of distance learning Avgonov Saifullo - Deputy dean of the Faculty "Commerce and Customs" Tabarov Lutfullo head of the department "Marketing and commerce" and others.

Young scientists of our university have been marked as the leadership of our country. The main reward of our state, Award Somoni Youth for Achievements in Science and Technology, has been awarded to our very own Farhad Sharopov and Djabborov Abdurasul. Furthermore, Huseynov Dilbar and Tolibov Qobil, Candidates of Economic Sciences, have been awarded gifts by President Emomali Rahmon for their achievements in science and teaching.

In graduate school, TSUC trained not only the graduates of our university, but also at other higher education institutions, as well as foreign countries such as Afghanistan, Iran and Turkey.

ACADEMIC MOBILITY PROGRAMS

Written by

An international perspective is a core element of our university’s activities, because the knowledge that forms the basis of the curriculum is generated worldwide. The University endeavours to give a greater international dimension to its academic programmes by inviting foreign professors and sending university’s professor and staffs to deliver courses of lectures. Moreover, student and staff do not only mature their stay but they also gain in competences often summarized as soft or key skills like intercultural awareness, adaptability, flexibility, innovativeness, proactivity, motivation, endurance, problem solving ability and being able to work productively in a team.

The Tajik State University of Commerce (TSUC) encourages, on a permanent basis, the academic mobility of students and academic staff to various academic centers abroad.
