From April 12 to 16, 2026, an international scientific seminar was held in Istanbul (Republic of Türkiye) within the framework of the POLCA project — “Development of the Legal System and Economic Factors in Central Asia” (Horizon – Marie Skłodowska-Curie Programme).
Professor Kadyrova Zarrina Halimovna of the Department of Economic Theory and Business Organization participated actively in the event as the project coordinator representing the Tajik State University of Commerce.
During the seminar, key issues of contemporary research were thoroughly discussed, including the application of qualitative and quantitative methods, adherence to ethical standards in scientific publishing, as well as the role and importance of informal institutions.
Professor Kadyrova Zarrina Halimovna also actively contributed to academic discussions and delivered a presentation on the impact of alternative institutions (Avlod and Mahalla) on improving public welfare.
Participation in the seminar provided an opportunity to study international experience and expand scientific collaboration.
At the conclusion of the event, it was emphasized that all project partners should clearly define their research directions and conduct studies using modern methodologies while adhering to the principles of academic ethics.
