On April 10, 2026, a delegation from the International Transnational Education Association (ITEA) visited the Tajik State University of Commerce.

The guests were warmly received by the Rector of the University, Professor Nazarzoda Khayrullo Kholnazar, along with the university staff.

During the meeting, key issues related to the development of bilateral cooperation were discussed. In particular, the parties exchanged views on the development and implementation of joint educational programs, modernization of curricula in line with labor market demands, introduction of academic mobility programs at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels, as well as the organization of international internships for faculty members.

Additionally, the participants discussed the introduction of international education standards, support for the digitalization of the education system (including technical assistance), enhancement of institutional capacity, and engagement of international partners.

It should be noted that the International Transnational Education Association (ITEA) is a public organization established to promote international cooperation in the field of education and to improve the quality of transnational educational programs.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further expand cooperation.
