On January 23, 2026, the plenary session of the III International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic: "Current issues in the development of accounting, auditing, analysis, taxation, and state financial control: modern challenges and development vectors" was held at the Tajik State University of Commerce.
The event was attended by scientists, experts, analysts, and representatives of higher education institutions from the Republics of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and the Russian Federation.
The conference was opened by the University's Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Mashokirov Jamshed Nematulloevich, who welcomed the guests and participants and noted that, at the initiative and with the direct support of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, and President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, the Republic of Tajikistan is paying special attention to strengthening its accounting, audit, analysis, taxation, and public financial control systems, as ensuring transparency of financial processes is considered a priority area of state policy.
Jamshed Mashokirov noted that this 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference is being held to discuss current issues in the development of accounting, auditing, analysis, taxation, and state financial control, as well as current challenges and development directions in this area, and also provides an opportunity to present the results of scientific research, exchange experiences, and address problems in this area.
He also noted that the Tajik State University of Commerce plays an important role in training specialists in various fields, especially in economics, business, accounting, auditing, analysis, taxation and financial control.
The following scientists and experts in the field then delivered congratulatory speeches on the topic under discussion:

- Mamasydykov Abdilbaet Asanovich, Rector of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University named after B. Sydykov, Doctor of Economics, Professor;
- Alimbetov Nurlan Orynbosarovich, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Professional Accountants of the Republic of Kazakhstan (online);
- Turdumambetova Erke Doolotbekovna, Director of the Academy of Finance of the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor;
- Sadykov Sadyk Ibragimovich, Chairman of the Council of the Public Institute of Professional Accountants and Auditors of the Republic of Tajikistan, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, SAR;
- Dustov Safarbek Savridinovich, General Director of the audit company "Consultant Audit" of the international network JPA INTERNATIONAL.
Subsequently, as part of the conference's plenary program, the following reports by prominent Russian and foreign scientists and experts were heard and discussed:
- Sayakbaeva Aiganysh Apyshevna, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Department of Finance, Jusup Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University, on the topic: "Transformation of Economic Statistics in the Digital Economy";
- Khakhonova Natalya Nikolaevna, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Department of Accounting, Rostov State University of Economics, on the topic: "Development of Audit Professionals: Comparison of Business Expectations and Self-Assessment of University Graduates in the Russian Federation" (online);
- Mirzoaliev Abdumalik Abdunabievich, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, SAR, Executive Director of the Public Institute of Professional Accountants and Auditors of the Republic of Tajikistan on the topic: "IFRS in Tajikistan: Realities, Problems, and Prospects";
- Ulmasov Rakhmon Ulmasovich, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Department of Foreign Regional Studies and Foreign Policy, Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University on the topic: "Russia's Economic Support: Labor Migrant Workers in the Russian Labor Market."
Following the presentations, a question-and-answer session was held, with participants sharing their views and discussing the papers. During the discussions, First Vice-Rector and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Abdukarim Kurbonov, Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations Jamshed Mashokrov, and Professor Radzhab Radzhabov expressed insightful ideas and recommendations on the development of digital technologies, key development issues and threats in accounting, auditing, public financial control, strengthening international cooperation, and developing educational programs.
At the conclusion of the conference, Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations Jamshed Mashokirov presented the speakers with certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts from the university administration. He thanked the audience for their active participation, helpful suggestions, and recommendations, and wished the conference sections every success.
