Tajik State University of Commerce has established fruitful cooperation with higher education institutions in European countries. Within the framework of this collaboration, Mr. Alijon Davlatov, a lecturer at the Department of Accounting and Auditing, is conducting his research activities under the Erasmus+ KA171 program at the University of Málaga, Kingdom of Spain.

At this university, he carries out his research at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Department of Finance and Accounting, under the academic supervision of Professor Julio Dieguez Soto, working on the topic “Methodology and Practice of Integrated Reporting Formation.”

The professor provides valuable academic guidance and support, assisting in the use of automated methods for analyzing scientific materials from sources across Europe, North and South America, Asia, and other regions. He also supports the application of new, efficient, and modern research methods, which play an important role in developing the research topic and improving the quality of scientific work.

It should be noted that the University of Málaga (Universidad de Málaga — UMA), founded in 1972, is one of Spain’s public universities. It has more than 35,000 students and 71 departments. The university actively promotes scientific and international cooperation through Erasmus+ and the International Hub. UMA has modern student campuses and offers courses in Spanish and English.

The city of Málaga is one of the oldest cities in the Kingdom of Spain and the capital of the province of Málaga in the Andalusia region. The official language is Spanish, though English and other languages are also widely spoken. Located on the Mediterranean coast, the city is famous for its beautiful beaches and numerous recreational areas.

Among its main cultural and historical attractions are: The Alcazaba — an ancient Moorish fortress (11th century), Málaga Cathedral (16th century), Picasso Museum, historic streets, and old quarters.

The Tajik State University of Commerce is confident that cooperation under the Erasmus+ KA171 program will continue successfully, expanding academic exchanges of teachers and students with the University of Málaga. This experience will undoubtedly contribute to enhancing the professional development of lecturers and students and strengthening the university’s international partnerships.
