On April 7, 2025, within the framework of the joint project between the Tajik State University of Commerce and the East Kazakhstan Technical University named after D. Serikbayev, a scientific and practical training “Development of Innovation through University Research: A Joint Initiative between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan” began at the Tajik State University of Commerce, with the participation of teachers, students and researchers. The training will last three days.
The training will be conducted by experienced experts in the field of providing research services to the private sector from the East Kazakhstan Technical University, Aizhan Samambaeva and Victoria Osipova. First, the training was opened by Jamshed Mashokirov, Deputy Rector of Science and International Relations of TSUC, who welcomed the guests and participants and wished success to the event.
Then, Professor Zarrina Qodirova, a consultant for the project “Vocational Education for Economic Development Sectors in Central Asia”, implemented by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), delivered a welcoming speech. Professor Qodirova noted that this training is a good opportunity to establish a dialogue between universities and the business sector, discuss existing obstacles and find effective ways to use scientific potential for economic development.
On the first day of the training, experts Aizhan Samambaeva and Viktoria Osipova conducted a master class in accordance with the training program and spoke on the following points:
- analysis of problems and opportunities in university research;
- joint search for solutions and best practices in the field of university research;
- academic training;
- theoretical approaches and methodologies;
- practical implementation and case studies.
At the end of the training, questions and answers and discussions were held between the participants and experts.
