On February 27 and March 6, 2025, as part of the implementation of the working plan of the Basic Organization of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member states for the training, professional retraining, and qualification improvement of specialists in the field of insurance for 2025, Tajik State University of Commerce and Belarusian State Economic University held cross-border online lectures.

During the lectures organized for students and professors of both universities, the current state of the insurance market in the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus was presented. ????

Among the lecturers were Tatyana Anatolyevna Verezubova, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor at Belarusian State Economic University, and member of the international expert advisory council of the Basic Organization of the CIS member states, who presented the topic “Insurance Market of the Republic of Belarus and Trends in its Development.”  Additionally, Nigora Shonazar, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Taxes and Insurance of Tajik State University of Commerce, presented the topic “Social Insurance System in the Republic of Tajikistan: Gaps and Recommendations.”

The lectures were received with great interest by students and faculty on both sides, who expressed hope for regular future meetings with experts from other CIS countries.
