From November 23 to 30, 2024, Professor Nazarzoda Khayrullo Kholnazar, Rector of the Tajik State University of Commerce; Abdulloev Bakhtiyor Tolibjonovich, Head of the Department of International Relations, Project Implementation, and Academic Exchange; and Abdullozoda Nurmuhammadi Aliavsat, Manager of the Project Implementation, visited the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, People's Republic of China. This visit can open up new opportunities for cooperation, academic exchange, exchange of experience, and promotion of international relations between the two universities.
As part of the visit, the rector of the Tajik State University of Commerce, Professor Nazarzoda Khayrullo Kholnazar, held a productive meeting with the president of the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, Professor Zhao Zhongxiu. This meeting was of particular importance for strengthening bilateral cooperation and developing joint projects in the field of education, science, and the green economy for both institutions.
The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for bilateral cooperation in education, including student exchange programs, joint internship courses, and joint projects in the fields of green economy and green energy. They also discussed the possibilities of scientific and educational cooperation, which can provide students and teachers with a chance to participate in joint projects in the field of green economy and international trade. In addition, issues of organizing seminars, conferences, and symposia on important topics such as the development of the world economy, international trade policy, and the green economy were discussed.
During the negotiations, it was noted that the Tajik State University of Commerce has significant advantages in the field of insurance and the development of the green economy in the Republic of Tajikistan and is also a leading university among the CIS countries in the field of insurance. These two areas are well in line with the professional priorities of both sides. Within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization programs, there are opportunities to implement scientific projects, exchange experiences, and promote cooperation to achieve significant results. It was also hoped that the two institutions could jointly promote innovation in scientific research and integration of educational resources in their fields, promoting cooperation and making positive contributions to the mutual development of both sides.
This meeting also focused on discussing the possibilities of cultural and intercultural cooperation, which is important for strengthening mutual understanding and respect between different cultures and countries. The meeting was aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation and implementing joint projects in areas such as the exchange of experience, the green economy, and the preparation of short-term courses and internships in key areas of great interest to both universities.
