From 26 to 30 October 2024, Professor Konstantinides Dimitrios, Department of Statistics and Actuarial-Financial Mathematics, University of the Aegean, Greece, visited the Tajik State University of Commerce within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 project. During his visit, he delivered lectures to students and researchers, as well as practical workshops for faculty members.
This visit opens up new opportunities for educational exchange and academic cooperation between the partner universities, contributing to the strengthening of international ties and the improvement of the quality of teaching. Students and faculty members had the chance to become familiar with modern methods and new educational practices.
The professor also conducted model lessons on various topics, including statistics, finance, taxation, and actuarial-financial mathematics. These classes were held in the format of interactive discussions and group work, which allowed students to gain a deeper understanding of the professor's teaching methods and scientific experience.
In addition, the professor discussed issues of educational programs with teachers of specialized departments and exchanged opinions on the structure, content, teaching methods, and students' needs. Such discussions play an important role in improving the quality of education and adapting curricula to modern requirements.
