On October 5, 2024, an online seminar "Analysis of the state of development of the circular economy and validation of the results for stakeholders in the Central Asian region (Tajikistan)" was held. This seminar was organized within the framework of the CirculEC project - Development of innovative curricula and modules in the circular economy and sustainable development of the Erasmus + program.

The project aims to build the human capital capacity of universities in Central Asian countries on the circular economy in order to provide employees, students of universities and the general public with skills and competencies that meet the needs of local labor markets and environmental challenges faced by Central Asian countries.

The main goal of this seminar is to validate the results of the Stay of Play analysis and bring them into line with the experience and expectations of stakeholders from different sectors. To prepare the analysis, consultations were held with representatives of business structures who actively participated in the online seminar. Stakeholders play an important role in the development of the circular economy, and their joint efforts are necessary to create a more sustainable and resource-efficient future.

The workshop left a positive impression on the participants and set the vector for further joint initiatives.
