On September 30, 2024, Mr. Jinwon Ahn, Executive Director of Handong Institute for International Development and Cooperation, and Professor Kiseok Kim visited Tajik State University of Commerce. This visit, which was held with the aim of strengthening academic and scientific cooperation, created a friendly and fruitful environment for the exchange of experience.

The visit of representatives from Handong International University took place within the framework of the development of educational, scientific and cultural ties between the two universities. The guests were welcomed by the rector of Tajik State University of Commerce, Professor Nazarzoda Khairullo Kholnazar, who held a fruitful meeting with the guests to discuss opportunities for cooperation and the creation of joint projects. During the conversation about academic exchange programs for students and teachers, it was discussed that opportunities for internships and training in an international environment will be created. They also discussed the creation of short-term courses in the field of artificial intelligence, green economy, conducting virtual classes and learning languages, which will help develop important skills for students and teachers. The focus was also on organizing research projects and scientific cooperation in various fields, including new technologies, various branches of programming and sustainable development.

The visit of representatives of Handong International University of Korea not only contributed to the development of bilateral relations, but also provided new opportunities for training and internships for students and teachers of the university. The delegation of guests showed interest in the educational and scientific activities of the Tajik State University of Commerce, which can play an important role for the university in the international arena.
