We are pleased to announce an important news: the Tajik State University of Commerce has joined the consortium of the international project MSCA-DN SOCIAL, significantly expanding the University’s opportunities for international academic cooperation and research mobility.

Call for Applications: 17 Fully Funded PhD Positions

within the project “SOCIAL – The Sociology of Authoritarian Law: A Central Asian Perspective,” implemented under the Horizon Europe – MSCA Doctoral Networks programme.

The SOCIAL-DN project is forming an international cohort of 17 doctoral researchers who will study the sociology of authoritarian law, with a particular focus on the dynamic interplay between law, society, and governance in Central Asia. The programme integrates theoretical and empirical training, interdisciplinary research, and active analytical engagement.

Each doctoral researcher will be hosted by one of the 14 partner institutions within the consortium and will benefit from:
• joint academic supervision;
• intersectoral secondments;
• structured academic mobility;
• fieldwork and research placements in Central Asian countries.
