I am Nazarov Mulloniyoz, a fourth-year student (4), Faculty of International Economic Relations, Law and Customs, specialty 250103, world economy. At the initiative of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, agreements in the field of education and science have been signed with dozens of developed countries around the world, and many young people study in those countries due to the allocated scholarships. The government of the country has offered these opportunities to young people, especially for the preparation of personnel with a high level of professionalism and meeting the requirements of international standards.

One of the important initiatives of the government is the education of young people in institutions of higher professional and scientific education in foreign countries. In light of the support of the government of the country, the Tajik State University of Commerce has continuously expanded cooperation with foreign higher education institutions and foreign organizations in order to improve the quality of education and to learn from the experiences of the foreign universities.

At the same time, I am happy that I am one of the participants in academic exchange programs among dozens of students from the Tajik State University of Commerce.

During my studies, I have learned many subjects from experienced teachers, participated in internal and external competitions of the university, and been awarded worthy places. After posting the announcement of academic exchange programs, I submitted my documents to participate at Kemyung University, South Korea. Fortunately, I was able to continue my studies in the first semester of the 2023–2024 academic year at Kemyung University.

Participating in the academic exchange program and studying at Kemyung University was a good opportunity for me to improve my outlook and knowledge level. In fact, many students from different countries, including Germany, France, Malaysia, Japan, the People's Republic of China, Mexico, Egypt, and other countries, are studying at Kemyong University. It is worth noting that every Saturday, a language and culture familiarization lesson for academic exchange students is organized at the university. In this lesson with foreign students, we provided them with the necessary information on the history of the Tajik people, its culture, language, and origin. Foreign students showed interest in our history, traditions, and customs.

It is worth mentioning that I got all these opportunities through the academic exchange program at the university. First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the Tajik State University of Commerce for creating beneficial cooperation with foreign higher institutions. I recommend students participate in academic exchange programs and expand their knowledge and outlook.
