On November 28, 2020, the Department of accounting and audit jointly with the Public Institute of professional accountants and auditors of the Republic of Tajikistan organized an international scientific and practical conference on: "Current issues of theory and practice of accounting, analysis and audit in modern conditions" in online format, which was attended by more than 40 researchers from the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. The plenary session was opened by the Vice rector on science and international relations, doctor of economic Sciences, associate Professor Z. H. Kadyrov, who on behalf of the rector of the University Kurbonzoda M. R. thanked the organizers for organizing the international conference and noted that the findings of research scientists on various issues of accounting and auditing will be useful not only to young researchers but also organisations and businesses.
Presentations were made at the plenary session of the conference on various issues in the field of accounting, analysis and audit: candidate of economic Sciences, associate Professor M. Sobkov, Ph. D., Professor Nizomov S. F., Ph. D., associate Professor Mirzoaliev A., Ph. D., associate Professor B. Kh. Karimov, and head of the Eurasian Institute of professional accountants of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alimbetova N. About., candidate of economic Sciences, associate Professor of the Financial University of the Russian Federation Nurmukhammedova H. S. and Safonova I. V. In addition, the head of the Department of accounting policy, financial reporting and audit of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Umarov M. spoke at the conference, emphasizing the importance of obtaining a certificate of professional accountant of the Republic of Tajikistan.

At the end of the plenary session of the conference on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Public Institute of professional accountants and auditors of the Republic of Tajikistan more than 50 representatives of theory and practice of accounting, including Professor Khushvahtova K. H., D. J. Lessons, Radjabov R. K. , Nizomov S. F. and others were awarded certificates of merit for valuable contribution to the development of the accounting profession.
