On September 15, 2020, Head of the Department of World Economy and International Relations, Associate Professor Zulfiya Kurbanova successfully defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic "Peculiarities of Conflict Resolution and Conflict Situations in a Changing World" in the specialty 23.00.04 - Political Problems of International Relations, Global and Regional Development in the Dissertation Council D047.019.03 Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Law named after A. Bakhovuddinov of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan.
