The solemn meeting dedicated to the 27th anniversary of the formation of the National Army of Tajikistan, held on February 21 in the assembly hall of the Tajik State University of Commerce, was opened with a welcoming speech by the head of the Department of Education and Social Development, Ph.D., associate professor Akramov F.M.

Akramov F.M. congratulated the teachers and students presented in the hall on the 27th anniversary of the formation of the Tajik Armed Forces and briefly noted the creation of the National Army, patriotism, and courage of soldiers and officers, defending the borders of our country and encouraged young people to patriotism, self-knowledge, self-awareness and not to lose political vigilance.

Then, the teacher of the Department of Social Sciences Abdullov A. made a report on the topic “Creation of the National Army of the Republic of Tajikistan”. An interesting report on the country's armed forces attracted the attention of the audience done by specialist of the Department of Education and Social Development Alimardonova F.

For the achievement in the field of education and science, a number of university teachers and students were awarded with diplomas, monetary and memorable prizes.

The event ended with a performance of students.
