The department of strategic development and quality management system established by the decision of Academic Council of the University from 02.01.2020 by order of the rector of 01/30/2020 №03/11-07 under the Strategic Development and Quality Assurance Office, which is subordinate to the Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Quality Management.

The main purpose of the department of strategic development and quality management system (QMS) is to assist in implementation of development strategy of Tajik State University of Commerce prior to the mission and vision of University in terms of implementing a quality management system at the university in accordance with ISO 9001: 2018.

In accordance with the Regulations on the department of strategic development and quality management system, the department manages the following main tasks:

– organization and coordination of activities for the development and implementation of a QMS in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001; State standard; ISO 21001: 2018;

– development of the QMS of University to conduct external audit in accordance with national and international standards;

– conducting internal audit and self-assessment of the university, its structural divisions and preparing reports to the governance.

– introduction of a mechanism for monitoring and evaluating the QMS in the activities of all structural units at the university.

– giving consultations on the implementation of methods of quality management system and strategic development in TSUC;

– implementation of the TSUC policy in the field of quality management, the introduction of document flow in the QMS and the introduction of documentation into the activities of the structural divisions of the university;

– organization of seminars and trainings to improve the qualifications of university staff in the field of QMS;

– cooperation and exchange of experience in the field of improving the quality management system with other educational institutions.

The department implements the following processes in the University QMS:

– preparation and systematization of the necessary documents for passing state accreditation, independent accreditation, obtaining licenses and monitoring their implementation;

– development of normative and methodological documents on licensing and accreditation procedures;

The Department of Strategic Development and Quality Management System works on the basis of the Quality Manual (Quality Management System NMS-RS-2020), approved by order of the Rector dated 09/08/2020.
