The Tajik State University of Commerce pays great attention to the training of highly qualified personnel who are competitive in the global labor market.

To achieve these goals and objectives, the university has a department of industrial practice and professional development.

The department was established on January 1, 2021 on the basis of the Department of Advanced Training, internships and Professional development.

The Department operates on the basis of the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity-the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the legal framework in the field of higher education, the orders of the Rector of the Tajik State University of Commerce, the university charter, the instructions of the department, the regulations of the department, job descriptions and the annual activity plan.

Since November 2018, the head of the department has been appointed Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Boyali Huseynov.

Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Sabat Hikmatov was appointed a specialist of the Department for industrial practice of students and graduates.

The department's employees work in three areas:

1. Professional development of teachers, their pedagogical and psychological skills and retraining of young teachers.
2. Organization of educational, industrial and pre-graduate practice for students.
3. Professional development and communication with graduates.

To organize the production practice, TSUC signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Customs Service under the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and other departments and institutions of the Republic.

Teachers undergo training and advanced training courses both in the country and abroad. Students are sent to organizations and enterprises on the basis of approved programs for passing industrial and pre-graduate practice.

Specialists of the department provide students with diaries, directions for practical training and annually monitor the process of passing the production and pre-graduate practice of students of the second, third and fourth courses.
