Since 2023, the Tajik State University of Commerce (TSUC) has been participating as a member in the international project MOCCA (Multilevel Orders of Corruption in Central Asia). This project is coordinated by Lund University (Sweden) and represents a program of research and academic exchange between universities in Europe and Central Asia. Its main goal is to support national and international efforts to educate and raise awareness in the fight against corruption. The project is funded by the Horizon MSCA program of the European Commission.

As part of the project implementation, on April 7, 2025, TSUC was visited by project coordinators from Lund University, Professors Ole Hammerslev and Rustam Urinboyev. During a meeting with the university's rector, Professor Khayrullo Nazarzoda, and the project working group, the parties exchanged views on the progress of the project and discussed prospects for cooperation in scientific research. At the same time, the project coordinator informed the rector that a new research project, “SOCIAL,” for the years 2026–2029, in which TSUC will also participate as a partner, has been approved by the European Commission under the Horizon MSCA program. This meeting is seen as an important and sustainable step toward the implementation of the new project. During the visit, meetings and open lectures for TSUC students and faculty are scheduled.

In addition, the meeting included discussions on new opportunities for cooperation in other research projects, faculty exchanges, and the expansion of scientific and educational activities.
