On December 20, 2024, the Tajik State University of Commerce, as the Basic Organization in the Field of Insurance among CIS Member States, hosted an international scientific and practical round table dedicated to pressing issues of the development of the insurance sector in the CIS countries.
The event brought together leading experts from Tajikistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and the Russian Federation, as well as representatives of insurance companies and academia. The round table began with an opening speech by the university's leadership. The importance of discussing modern challenges and the prospects of the insurance market for the economic stability of CIS countries was emphasized. As part of the event, the Head of the Insurance Supervision Department of the National Bank of Tajikistan, Boboev Boburkhon Faizulloevich, delivered a comprehensive report titled “Overview of the Insurance Market of the Republic of Tajikistan: Infrastructure, Current Status, and Development Prospects.” The report analyzed the current state of the Tajik insurance market and identified its key development directions.
