A flickering, flashing, or blinking monitor is often caused by a loose or damaged cable, a faulty power source, nearby appliances with a high current, out of date drivers, or the refresh rate setting on your computer. Be careful, though, because it is possible to damage your monitor hardware if you do this. However, the flickering still happens. If that doesn’t work, you can force Windows to use a refresh rate that is not technically supported by the monitor. Or test your monitor on another computer that you know works fine. If the flickering stops when you are running your device in Safe mode, it could mean that the issue is being caused by a bug with one of the apps that you have downloaded.
